· Caltrans Maintenance Facility
Work takes place at the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Maintenance Facility located in San Leandro, California. The project scope includes the construction of three structures. Two of the building are tilt-up concrete walls and the third is framed steel structure. Supporting structures being constructed are a ¼ mile two lane paved access road, 130-ft retaining wall modification of an existing freeway on-ramp. The project is budgeted at $8.6 Million.

· Bridgehead Expansion Phase 2
Work takes place at Bridgehead Pump Station in Antioch, and consists of construction and modifications to the pump station. This includes constructing an 11.75-MGD wet/dry pit wastewater pump station and 900 kW standby diesel generator facility, 1.3-MG circular concrete emergency storage basin tank, and approximately 600 lineal feet of 8-inch potable water pipeline to serve the site. Mitchell Engineering is also constructing below grade flow control and isolation valve vaults with appurtenances, and mechanical, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation and controls support systems. Improvements are being made to the existing submersible pump station for conversion to a diversion pump station.

· Placerville Operational Improvement Project
The Caltrans Highway 50 Operational Improvement Project in Placerville consists of widening the highway and bridges, bridge replacement, concrete barrier rail, signs, traffic signals, highway lighting and the relocation of City of Placerville public utilities. Specific work includes the construction of Hangtown Creek Bridge Abutments and Columns, Retaining Walls Nos. 1 and 4, Temporary Signalization, Route 50 On-Ramp Re-alignment, Stage 1 - West Placerville/Route 50 Over-crossing Bridge Replacement (Median Section) and the Bedford Avenue Pedestrian Over-crossing (POC) South Ramp CIDH foundation, Stage 2 - West Placerville/Route 50 Over-crossing Bridge Replacement (Eastbound Lanes), Hangtown Creek Bridge Superstructure, Complete West Placerville Drive onto Main Street, Remove and Replace Spring and Canal Street Bridges, Span Bedford Avenue POC at Route 50, Construct Retaining Walls 3 and 5, Realign Hangtown Creek and the Sanitary Sewer Relocation.
